Throughout my time at big rock, I learned how to use various piece of machinery including fork lifts, cherry pickers, etc. My direct supervisor was always helpful and he taught me a lot about my job. However, The supervisors didn't promote cross training, And when i asked if I could be cross trained, I was promptly denied.
My co-workers were always friendly and a joy to be around. We all got along well and worked along side each other very well. The hardest part of the job was the inability to secure your job.
The job itself was very good, but nobody had any sense of job security. The best part of the job was the people.

Not a bad job to have but not enough pay for the job I do. Management isn't fair at all. We've had a lot of good people leave from the treatment.
