Do not judge the amp until you listen to them and the reason PG amps fail is because if you do not have the right electrical setup you are not getting the full potential of the amps. The new Xenon amps especially the If not made overseas the amp would cost twice as much. The new Xenon are very good quality amps period. YOurs died and I know why you would be upset. I have also talked to many people and many do say they sound nice.

I want to buy a new amp for Infiinity Perfect This is going into a sealed cubic foot box in a Ford Explorer. I have two options that I have narrowed it down to. I can get a phoenix gold xenon I want to purchase the amp tonight or tomorrow morning so I can get it shipped out tomorrow. Taking all considerations into account, which would you guys go with? I would especially like to hear from anyone who has a Perfect running on lower power levels to get some input on sound quality and thump at around watts or so, but all opinions are welcome.

Thanks in advance. I thought that strange also, but supposedly they have circuitry built in that optimizes output at watts regardless of the impedance load on the amp.
