Over the last 4 years, the different locations were all acquired and merged together without a great understanding of why which led to lots of turnover and terminations.

Those that were successful at their previous agencies were given more responsibilities and more focus on driving revenue without much support.

My old agency was acquired by The Sandbox Agency, and many great things were promised, and I was very excited. After 6 mos into the new agency, a second round of layoffs happened - this time across all depts, and the office moral changed from there.

Completely blindsided me and others by getting let go. No job security after acquisition, Sandbox didn't understand many components of the old agency and employees suffered the consequences by losing their jobs.

Collaboration was touted, but in the end, the management team seemed to have their own different agenda. At least that helped lessen the blow. The company has great vision and ambition, they want to take care of employees but lack of structure to execute vision. Difficult to build trust in employees in order for them to join in on their vision as multiple rounds of layoffs occurred. This company is the best company I have ever worked for. It's very unfortunate that they will be closing down this location. I am rally going to miss my co workers. At this point there has not been much communication from leadership so no one knows the status of the business.
