They are 10 weeks long and cover nutrition, preparation, comfort measures, positive communication, finding your birth preferences, postpartum and newborn care. Bradley Method Bradley affiliated instructor Lisa Ryckman teaches a week class that covers nutrition, labor prep, and newborn care. Wellspring Childbirth Julie Olson, a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, teaches a one day express class that covers normal changes during and after pregnancy, support and comfort of laboring mothers, pain management, creating a birth plan and postpartum and breastfeeding.

This class is required for all new clients. This class will normalize breastfeeding, prepare parents for a healthy and exclusive breastfeeding relationship, and empower parents to manage pitfalls that lead to early cessation of breastfeeding, including return to work. Educators will facilitate breastfeeding empowerment and support by drawing from their years of experience and wisdom supporting parents.

This class is required for all who have not breastfed before. In this class you will learn the tools for HypnoBirthing, in addition to the topics learned in the Childbirth Prep Class. This class also includes a dry run of birth in your specific birth room. Participants receive a HypnoBirthing book, course binder as well as HypnoBirthing tracks to download. This gathering will facilitate a community space for mothers and their babies to rejuvenate their motherhood pride by receiving and providing support to and from their new mama community.

We believe it truly takes a village - this weekly gathering will build togetherness and support amongst families! We will post any updates on this event on facebook. Classes provide families with the evidence-based birth education and empowerment they need to feel prepared for their birth experience.
