Very disappointing!!! There were other folks standing in front in the same position as us. Put us in a bind I made a reservation for two on the Open Table website. My friend and I arrived at the restaurant on Saturday September 1st at are reserved time only to discover that the restaurant was closed for three days of the Labor Day weekend.

Somebody really dropped the ball! Awesome food. Great tex-mex and so convenient to the Dallas Arts District - we walked to the Windspear. Good food, good service. The food was very delicious and I even requested a candle light at the table and they did just that!
The staff is friendly and overall great job! The service was slow. The waiter didn't check in with us. We ran out of water and couldn't find anybody to refill it. So we were thirsty, didn't have water chip anything for a very long time. When they finally got to us they took the order and got it wrong. First we waited a long time for it and then it was wrong and then you wanted to fix it. So then I had to wait for it to get fixed. Then it was soggy and wet and just awful. I had the flat enchiladas with two eggs on top.
It was awful. And it was expensive. My friend got a quinoa bowl with what look like overcooked scrambled eggs on it. And for the price she paid for it it was the smallest appetizer I've ever seen. All told then it was awful, the service slow and to top it off it was expensive. Very meh. For what we paid, I expected better. Not bad, just very average. Dinner before seeing show at Winspear. The food was delicious but the service was horrible.
I would come back as it is one of few restaurants close to the theatres in downtown, but the service makes me question that. Related Articles. By Dave Faries Dec 24, Sign Up Now No Thanks.
